Dr. Troy Winegar was born and raised in Salt Lake City. From a young age he was interested in dentistry and spent several years working as a lab tech for a local orthodontist. He attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate studies. After the University of Utah, he attended dental school at Creighton University School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, he completed a two-year, post-graduate program specializing in Prosthodontics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry. After completion of the specialization residency, Dr. Winegar and his family returned to Utah where he has been practicing as a Prosthodontic dental specialist in the Holladay area since 1994. Dr. Winegar maintains membership in numerous local and national organizations including American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association, and the American College of Prosthodontists.

Dr. Winegar also operates his own in-house denture laboratory where he personally does much of the intensive work associated with denture design and fabrication. This allows him to take great pride in doing the finest customized denture work using the best materials, techniques, and workmanship that his patients both need and deserve. Our office also uses digital scanning technology to help obtain the most accurate images for dental implants, crowns, bridges and dentures. This attention to detail is reflected in his practice, from the customer service of the staff and to the precision of his work.
